At the beginning of summer, 2022, Market on the Square launched. Vendors have been set up on the sidewalk on the east side of the courthouse square every Monday.

Albion's new market launched in early May and has moved from the alley on the north side of the square between Newman & Newman law office and Hidden Ego Gym to the courthouse square sidewalk. The market welcomes home-based vendors, local farmers, and other who have goods to sell and has featured locally produced goods including homemade linens, fresh-baked goods, chocolate, art, boutique clothing, antiques, fresh eggs, and strawberry jam.
Kayla Traylor, market official, will be coordinating the summer market. Vendor fees are waived during 2022. Vendors interested in participating will find market terms and conditions, and application forms, on the Albion STAR Team website.
